Lincoln’s musical talents and style were born in London’s underground Jazz dance scene in the late 80’s. Through out the 90’s he played at clubs like Humpty Dump and the and the Wag in Soho. He then joined Keb Darge at Madam JOJO’s to DJ with him when Deep Funk started. Moving to Tokyo he continued with the same musical policy of quality Soul, Funk and Jazz and started a night Bebop Square which was known for attracting Tokyo’s best dancers. Lincoln today continues to perform in La Fabrique’s regular party called Searching along with many guest DJs such as Snowboy, DJ Shadow, DJ Jin, Jazzman Gerald and Keb Darge.
Daisuke is considered to be one of the worlds top Funk DJ’s, also known as one of Japan’s most knowledgeable black music authorities. He has been DJing Funk and Soul for over 16 years releasing his famous Kickin CD’s. He has been involved in many Funk parties such as In Business at Club Asia and Wah Wah at the Room. He also recently DJed for Marva Whitney the soul sister No. 1 of James Brown’s band at Fuji Rock festival.
Both Lincoln and Daisuke today continue to perform in La Fabrique’s regular party called Searching along with many guest DJs such as Snowboy, DJ Shadow, DJ Jin, Jazzman Gerald and Keb Darge.
